Hi!
Is it possible to specify the exact site in the "Maps" tab? Usually I don't have GPS data and I simply want to scroll through the map and zoom in and out to find the dive site (easy with lakes in the nearer area). But I can't pinpoint this place. Did I miss something? Easy change?
Oh, Merry Christmas,
Boris

Re: Define dive sites in maps tab
Hi there,
If you create a site first (Under the Site tab), then it will try and guess an approximate location if you don't have one. From there, you can drag the pin around to move it to the correct location manually. You can also search on the Map tab for things like a location and it will try to geocode the address for you.
The key point here is that both of those things require that you've specified a site to begin with (so it can associate the coordinates, basically).
Ideally the location/site and map would be on the same tab to make this simpler. But yes, you can manually search/move the pin.
Hope that helps?
