The i750t is already supported via bluetooth; I'm guessing that the i300C's bluetooth support is similar. What do you think?

It's similar, but it's not quite the same.

I need some info to make it work - I've been talking to another user who has one, but unfortunately I need some extra logging information he's not able to provide (at least not yet). If you want to see this supported then please drop me an email.

Cheers.

Hi - my wife just got an Aqualung i300C and we would be willing to send you test info for supporting bluetooth downloads. Just let us know. We'll be off the grid for a week on the Truk Odyssey (yay!) but can help after that.

THanks, Chris Jacobsen

Drop me an email when you get back.

FYI the iPhone version already has support, so you can use that, it just needs to be ported to macOS.

Hi - quite some time later, we are interested in returning to this. Any thoughts on how to debug synchronization from a i300c with a Mac?

Thanks, Chris Jacobsen

It looks like the latest firmware for the i300c breaks bt connectivity with the iOS app. It will connect to the dive computer but not actually sync. Shame, cause MacDive is great.

For the forum -

There was a bug here causing the i300 to download a LOT slower than it should have. I don't think it was ever broken by a firmware update, rather it looked like it wasn't doing anything as it was taking so long to progress. Given enough time it did actually finish successfully.

That said, I have fixed the bug causing the slowdown and downloads from the i300 (plus a number of other Oceanic/Aqualung devices) are now an order of magnitude faster. This will be in the next releases for iOS and macOS, but there is a TestFlight beta available if anybody wants to try it out.
