My list of dive sites appears to contain duplicate names which I would like to eliminate/merge (apparently I cannot attach an image ).
Is there a way to edit the list of site names so I can see why there appear to be duplicates?
Thanks,

Hi there,
Click on Sites in the sidebar, and then switch to List view. The User Guide documents this with screenshots etc:

Re: View/edit list of site names? Unexplainable duplicates
OK, great, now I can see my list of identically-named sites. I have three sites called "Paseo del Cedral" with apparently the same exact data for each. Is there a way to merge these into one? I can imagine renaming one, changing the site of all of the dives on the others to the new, renamed one, then deleting the sites with no dives, then renaming the first... Is that the only way or is there another, slicker short-cut?
Thanks,

Unfortunately there's no way to merge them, but the quickest way would probably be:
1. Go to the main dives view
2. Filter for the site name in the top right search box
3. That should now be showing you just the dives with one of those duplicate sites
4. Select all
5. Open inspector, go to Location
6. Change the site to one of the duplicates
7. Now go back to Sites, List View
8. You should see all of them bar one with 0 dives made
9. Select those and delete
So.. relatively straightforward, no need to mess around renaming etc. Make sense?
