Re: Manually migrate dives from iOS to OS X without Cloud Sy
Something else to add to the wish list: The ability to import a GPS track from a Garmin, then use time stamps or waypoints to assign GPS coordinates to dives.

Re: Manually migrate dives from iOS to OS X without Cloud Sy
Thanks Nick. The reason I prefer to download my dives to my Mac is simply for ease of typing. In order to use a decent keyboard with my iPhone, I'd also have to carry a bluetooth keyboard (one more thing to carry). So I download straight to my Mac so I can type notes for each dive (I mostly do livea...

Re: Manually migrate dives from iOS to OS X without Cloud Sy
Sorry for re-opening this thread, but I have a related question. Recently I was on a trip in Fiji, no internet. I wanted to log the GPS locations of my dives, but I can only do that in MacDive for iOS. I was downloading my Shearwater Perdix data after every dive or two to my Mac. However, I didn't w...

Re: Repetitive Dives - Surface Interval Calculation
Thanks Nick. Yeah, I had forgotten that for the two dives that showed Shearwater 2, I had downloaded those to my iPhone.

Thanks Nick, I just sent you the MacDive.sqlite file.
Yes, I was referring to the Mac version.

Re: Repetitive Dives - Surface Interval Calculation
Hi Nick, I was researching the question of how to recalculate surface intervals and found the answer in this thread. However, I have a related question so I thought I would post it on this thread. I recently finished 19 dives on my Shearwater Petrel 2, importing them via Bluetooth at the end of each...

Re: Mass update only country?
Great, thanks Nick!
I knew there had to be a way to do it but just couldn't figure it out. It took me a little bit to see that there's a list view for sites, gear etc. That made it easier too.

Mass update only country?
Hi Nick, I've got a bunch of dives where the country is listed as the formal name so the flag doesn't show up. I want to update them to the short name so the flag shows up (eg, "Republic of Maldives" to "Maldives") But when I try to multi-edit in the Dive Inspector, it creates an...

Re: Mass update tanks and gasses
Yes, it's unintuitive. It's a complex setup, and generally speaking most of the information is automated from a download. Particularly if you have a default tank set, I wouldn't expect you would need to change things very often. Making it easier to use and more intuitive is unfortunately not partic...

Re: Mass update tanks and gasses
Did you select all of the tanks? You said you went to the gases tab and changed "the" tank. If multiple dives are selected, you should see each tank/gas in the table on the left. So you'd select all of the tanks you want to change, and then change the actual tank in the dropdown on the ri...
