Re: Problem with duplicate imports of dives MARES ICON HD
Hello again, Yes I specifically choose "only new dives", which is why it baffles me every time when all dives get downloaded again, if I haven't synced the computer for a while. This only happens with my Mares Icon HD (net-ready). My Atomic Cobalt 2 as well as my wife's Suunto Cobra 3 don'...

Re: Problem with duplicate imports of dives MARES ICON HD
Hi, I have a similar issue with my Mares Icon HD net ready. I followed the above recommendations and after merging imported all the "fragmented" dives again, and even left them in my database (I just label the SITE NAME as fragment, so I can keep them distinct). I even tested and used &quo...

detailed weights information for a dive
Dear MacDive developer, Weights (both total and distribution/trim) are so important to perfecting buoyancy that I thought it would be really helpful to be able to have the following data fields for dive details please. This way, we could always look back at previous dives and immediately be able to ...

Smart Dive Log filter called "does NOT contain"
most of my dives have multiple tags. when creating a smart dive log, I have found that if I set "tags IS X" all dives containing more than just tag X get discarded. Likewise, if I set "tag is NOT X" pretty much all dives get listed anyways since the filter assumes dives with mult...

Re: Mares Icon HD Import Error
You are so right. I did have a Suunto cable plugged in a different USB port (for my other dive computer), but no dive computer attached to it. I had no idea an "empty" cable could throw a wrench into the sync with the Mares Icon HD.
The sync works now
Thank you!

smart dive log rule accommodating multiple computers
my wife and I both use multiple computers (primary and backup). It would be great if one could set a filter rule in the Smart DiveLog that preferentially uses data from the primary computer, and only uses the secondary computer data when primary computer data is missing. Otherwise I keep ending up w...

Mares Icon HD Import Error
I just returned from a dive trip and suddenly I can no longer download my dives from the Mares Icon HD Net Ready. I get the error message: Import Error: Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.usbserial-ST000001' (Error Code: -8) Interestingly, I tested DiveLogDT and DiversDiary ...
