Re: Invalid ringbuffer error
Thanks! I sent by email, and also made a trac report. I tried Suunto DM4, too, and it was unable to download dives from the computer. I think I'll remove the battery for a week and see if that helps.

Invalid ringbuffer error
I have a Cobra3, and a couple of weeks ago I was a bad boy and forgot to check the battery before a dive. The computer functioned, but I think it stopped recording dive data partway through. Since then I've had intermittent problems downloading dives, and after yesterday I saw this message from the ...

Dives showing up in "Recently imported" but not "All Dives"
Running MacDive 2.3.1. Just imported five dives and they show up in "Recently Imported" but not in "All Dives." Is there a way to fix that?

Re: Unable to sync to Dive Log on iPhone & iPad
It works for me to sync between MacDive and Dive Log on my iPhone and my iPad. You have to do them one at a time, and exit the sync process on the iPhone before you enable synchronization on the iPad (for example).

Re: Getting started with electronic Divelog
I know of only one place that wanted to see a paper log: Bonne Terre mines, to see where you are in their sequence of trails. With MacDive's ability to transfer dives to DiveLog on an iPhone, I have my dive log in my pocket if anyone wants to see it.
Re: SAC Data
Something that could be nice to add: when you move the mouse in the depth profile window, it shows you depth, time into dive, and tank pressure in text at the bottom of the plot. Maybe add the instantaneous SAC - or a 1 minute moving average of the SAC - into that text that appears?

Re: dive site coordinates crash macdiive
Did you just enter the numbers, without the words "Lat" and "Lng" ? If not, try that.tadpole60 wrote:When I enter dive site coordinates, I crash the app. Using coords such as 25.066722 Lat, -80.300194 Lng will crash the app consistently. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

Yup, tick marks every 15 feet or 5 meters, and 5 minutes, would be great

Re: Uploading to Suunto Dive Computer from MacDive
Dive computers generally don't allow you to clear their memory since they use that for calculating your nitrogen loading history. Of course beyond a day or so it no longer matters, but simply not enabling user-driven erasure of dive history is easier than checking what dives are being deleted. Not a...
