Re: Location tracking and computer time not set
It could be a field in the dive, not the site. Don’t know if that helps.

Re: Location tracking and computer time not set
Have you ever thought about recording time and location on entry and exit for drift dives? Wouldn’t need to be recorded with the site, but you could record distance travelled during a drift.

Re: Location tracking and computer time not set
I agree with you, I enjoy that as well. Thanks. I had only been thinking that I had to fix the time as part of the import because the recorded site was somehow ephemeral.

Re: Location tracking and computer time not set
Thanks... I had it stuck in my head that it had to be part of the import to get the tracked site (even read that section of the manual).

Location tracking and computer time not set
Hi Nick. As always, thanks for MacDive. I really enjoy using it and my wife just got a computer from this century, an aqualung I770, and she is logging dives again for the first time in decades. Setup and sync was easy, she is loving having the sync between phone and iPad. Easy enough for old people...

Re: adding Freedive logging to MacDive
wow, thanks. I read the manual once, I swear, but it was a long time ago, and I don't have a computer with freedive mode.

Creating new site in iOS
When setting up a new site in iOS, based on a tracked location, it would be nice to see nearby existing locations when naming the new location, in case the site already exists or deserves a similar name.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: bug, site location from IOS?
Ah. So you need to READ things. You should put that in the manual.
after doing that and doing a sync, it's all working everywhere.
thanks, sorry for the trouble....

Re: bug, site location from IOS?
Sorry, took me a while to check into this. I only have one site with this behavior, it's called "Deep Fishbowl", off anacapa island, in California. 1 Dive there. Near another (shallower) site called "West of Fishbowl Point". I created the site on the mac and synced it back to the...
