Merging 2 back-to-back dives into one

Hi, Is there an easy way to tell mac-dive to "concatenate" two successive dives with a very short surface interval in-between into one? I had a dive that included surfacing for a few minutes in the middle, and my computer broke it into two. I'd like MacDive to treat it as a single dive tha...

Re: Adding support for TDC3 dive computer?

Hi, Any news on this topic? Ross has now released a Mac client for the TDC3 (called "Multideco Divelog" -- basically an extension of the client that was used for the Liquivision X1), so dives can be: - uploaded from the dive computer to the cloud via wifi - then downloaded to the mac via M...

How do you use Mac Dive when you dive with 2 computers?

Hi, I usually dive with both a primary and backup computer (one on each wrist), especially on deco dives. Both computers are identical and I'm not super diligent that, e.g., serial #X always goes on the right wrist. (Perhaps I should be?) I know I'm definitely not the only person who does this, and ...

Re: Back-and-forth gas switches?

Thanks! Sorry, to clarify: let's take an example: Suppose I breath: - Mix A for the first 10 minutes of the dive - Mix B for the next 60 minutes of the dive - Mix A for the last 30 minutes of the dive I dove with two tanks. For the tank containing Mix A, I know its starting pressure at the beginning...

Back-and-forth gas switches?

Hi, I ended up with an (admittedly unusual) situation that I'm not sure how to handle in Mac Dive. Basically I often do dives that involve a gas switch... back to a previously used gas. (E.g., travel gas gets reused in deco). In Mac Dive the two separate times this gas shows up in my "Gases&quo...

Adding support for TDC3 dive computer?

Hi, I just bought one of the new "TDC3" dive computers from Ross Hemingway (who makes V-Planner and Multi-deco, as well as the software for the old Liquivision X1). Details are here: http://www.tdc-3.com/index.php . It would be great if there were a smooth way to import dive profiles from ...

Cloud synching fails on iOS version. How to re-enable?

Hi, My two computers and two iOS devices recently all stopped syncing (perhaps after a recent update? I haven't dove -- or used MacDive --in a few months, so I can't pinpoint exactly when this started). On the computers, MacDive redirected me to a web browser to re-login to DropBox, which resolved t...

Smoother tag editing when multiple dives are selected?

Hi, (Thanks for maintaining MacDive; it's great!) I'm not sure if this counts as a feature request or a bug report, but there's a bit of awkwardness in the way that tags are edited when multiple dives are selected. Here's an example of the awkward behavior: 1. Select 20 dives, some of which have var...
