So if you are saying that nothing changed then what am I supposed to do?

Everything was fine, I updated and now my computer cannot locate any serial port with my Mares ICON HD. It is attached properly and just as it was before.

Very frustrating when updates don't help, they make it more difficult.

I recently had to restore my data and it caused all of my dives to revert back to "mares user". Do I have to go through each dive to change them to my name or is there a way to change them all at once. I am the only diver that uses this program in my house, there are not additional divers ...

excuse my ignorance but these directions seem incomplete.

I followed them and my old dives do not show back up in the divelog. Please elaborate?

I went to the folder, copied in my old macdive.sqlite file, replaced the old, restarted the program and nothing. What am I missing?

I wish that you would discuss the resolution. I just tried to get into macdive (still running 2.2.2) so that I could do the update but the program will not open. I have to force quit. Please advise?

The serial port box IS blank and i'm still having the error...
